Lite Users can upload one Dataset, with up to three Data Tables in that Dataset. Pro and Enterprise users can have unlimited Datasets and Data Tables.
It can be helpful to create a new Dataset if you want to upload information related to a separate program or department within your organization, because a new Dataset might allow you to better organize your new Data Tables.
For example, having a separate Dataset for each program can simplify naming conventions for your Data Tables if you have a “Participant Demographics” Data Table for each of your programs.
If you are uploading new data for a program that you are already analyzing in the UpMetrics platform, it's best to add a new Data Table to your existing Dataset for that program. This way you can easily navigate between all of your data for that program, and you can easily link relevant fields across your Data Tables by setting up Managed Relationships.
